Keep Your Cool: Nakauyaca

Senior Superintendent Verani Nakauyaca stressed players need to keep their cool while participating in the Carpenters Finance-sponsored Labasa Sanatan tournament.
The Northern Divisional Police Commander made the comment while opening the nine-day tournament at Subrail Park, Labasa, and yesterday.
“If you do not control your pressure, my officers will control you,” SSP Nakauyaca said.
“I understand you will be under pressure while playing but you need to keep your cool like good sportsmen.
“Referees need to be fair and exercise total control as bad refereeing spoils the game. I ask for the fans to behave and enjoy the games as it is not easy organising such tournaments.
“Football provides entertainment, enjoyment and brings people together.
“It fosters the value of brotherhood and also serves to raise funds for worthy cause.”
The final will be held on September 10 at Subrail Park. The winner gets $2,000.
