Legendary Fiji Regatta Around The Corner

Wouldn’t it be fun to travel in either a multi-hull or mono-hull yacht?
Well you can experience that at the legendary 34th Musket Cove Fiji Regatta, being hosted from September 14 to 20. Many ‘landlubbers’ also visit the Musket Cove Island Resort and Marina Fiji to experience the exciting atmosphere it has built over these years.
This will be the 34th edition of the regatta, an idyllic destination located on Malolo Lailai Island and amid the beautiful Mamanuca Islands west of Nadi.

Resort sales and marketing manager Alex Raicebe said cruising yachts from across the South Pacific and beyond, are heading to the 34th Musket Cove Fiji Regatta.
“As usual at this time of the year the sailors from around the Pacific and beyond are already signalling their intention to be part of the legendary Musket Cove Fiji Regatta once again” he said.
The programme is simple: sail by day and party by night.
Mr Raicebe added among the many highlights during the week are the fancy dress Pirates’ Day set on nearby Beachcomber Island, the Musket Olympics, off-the-beach Hobie Cat racing, plus post-race parties and beach barbecues at the Musket Cove Yacht Club’s Island Bar.
For the sailors, the signature event on the water is the 20 nautical mile round Malolo Lailai race which starts and finishes adjacent to Musket Cove Resort.
To compliment this sports tourism, Musket Cove Island Resort offers special accommodation packages for the week to supplement the initiative of the Musket Cove Yacht Club Fiji.
