The Vodafone Fijian Under-20 rugby were severely humiliated in their second game in the World Rugby U20 Trophy competition in Montevideo yesterday.

Uruguay walloped the Fijians 34-3 at the Charrúa Stadium in Montevideo.

They led Fiji 20-3 at halftime and maintained consistency throughout the game scoring five unanswered tries.

Indiscipline from the Fijians saw Uruguay first five –eighth Piazza Mari kicking three penalties.

The Koli Sewabu-coached side points came from a penalty kicked by centre Filimoni Botitu.

The Fijians beat Hong Kong in their opening match 26-7 and play their last match against Portugal on Wednesday.

In other results Japan walloped Canada 50-12, Namibia beat Chile 33-19 and Portugal beat Hong Kong 31-24.
