Seaqaqa Back After 7 Years

Seaqaqa returned to participate in the Carpenters Finance Labasa Sanatan Tournament at Subrail Park in Labasa after seven years.
The team of 17 players is coached by the former Seaqaqa goalkeeper, businessman Mohammed Azmat.
In the first pool match they played to a scoreless draw with Wailevu Ganesh.
“We have been participating in this annual tournament for more than 30 years,” Azmat said.
“The first and last time we won this tournament was in 1984.
“The reason we could not take part in the past seven years was due to lack of interest.
“We have taken a bold step to make a comeback and I would like to thank our sponsor Northern Dental Care for enabling us to participate this year.”
