Tovata In Sanatan Semis
Tovata booked a spot in the semifinal of the Carpenters Finance Labasa Sanatan tournament at Subrail Park in Labasa yesterday.
This was after they beat Urata 1-0 in the quarterfinal.
The goal was scored by Labasa district rep Anish Khem in the 10th minute.
“We have a clean record so far and we are taking one game at time,” W.W Tovata team manager Kamlesh Chand said
“Our aim is to win this tournament and we are confident.”
Tournament chairman Mor Singh said the eight teams that qualified for the quarter-finals are Tovata, Urata, Seaqaqa, Wailevu, Vunika, Buca, Tabia and Bulileka.
The semifinals will be played at 10am and the final at 3:30pm today.
