Wade Opening at Big CPA Congress, A-G will address them on Friday

Acting Prime Minister Attorney-General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum will not be the chief guest at the Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia-Fiji congress this week.
Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said his absence is because of this week’s Parliament session. However, he will deliver his speech on Friday, he said.
The two-day event begins tomorrow at Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort on Yanuca Island.
CPA Fiji vice-president Nouzab Fareed confirmed that former CPA President Graeme Wade will be the chief speaker.
He will be highlighting on the topic: ‘Changing the roles of accountants’ from a global perspective, Mr Fareed added.
The event will expect 500 delegates with eminent speakers both local and international.
With the theme: Connecting the Biggest Minds, the event will end on Friday.
