Tabia is confident of winning the Vodafone and Bank of Baroda-sponsored Vanua Levu Muslim Inter-District Championship (IDC) super premier and premier divisions this year.

Team manager Mohammed Ibrahim said the players have been preparing for more than month.

“We won the premier division four times and we have yet to win the super premier title,” Ibrahim said.

“We drew with Nasea 0-0 in our first match on Thursday and our next game is against Wailevu, defending premier champion.”

“I would like to thank our sponsor A.K Hire Services and our coach Faiyaz Khan for preparing the players,” he said.

“We have been participating in this tournament ever since it started and we aim to win both titles this year.”
