Bala Heads Team To Discuss Infrastructure And Water Issues

The Ministry for Transport and Infrastructure will be in the west this week to discuss concerns relating to rural electrification, rural water, rain water harvesting, transport and rural roads.
Permanent Secretary Paul Bayly confirmed yesterday that his team will be holding discussions at 19 venues starting in Ra. Tomorrow they will be at Tavua and on Wednesday at Nadi.
Minister Parveen Bala is heading the team with meetings starting at 10am and finishing at night.
“This is an opportunity for members of the public to come and meet our minister,” ministry public relations officer, Peni Namotu said.
“Instead of them coming to Suva to clarify issues, our minister will be there to answer, clarify and assist,” he said.
