The Soasoa football team are leading pool two of the Super Premier division with nine points in the Vodafone/ Bank of Baroda Vanua Levu Muslim Interdistrict Championship.

In the other pool Seaqaqa are on top with five points.

Tournament president Aiyub Khan said these teams have been leading after four days of pool games.

“They’ve more matches to play as the tournament will end this Sunday at Subrail Park in Labasa,” Khan said.

“The defending champions is Batinikama however, we’re expecting a big upset this year.”

Results: Tradravula 0-0 Taveuni, Batinikama 0-0 Valebasoga, Wailevu 1-0 Seaqaqa, Bua 2-0 Bulileka, Batinikama 1-1 Savusavu, Salove 2-0 Nabekavu, Wailevu 2-2 Nasea

Today’s Games: 5.30pm Valebasoga v Nasea, 6.30pm Seaqaqa v Wailevu, 7.20pm Tabia v Dreketi, 8.15pm Vunimoli v Nabekavu, 9.15pm Korowiri v Nasea.
