Tulo Finished In 8th Place
Manueli Tulo finished eighth place in the 56kg category in the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Turkmenistan.
The Baba, Levuka native managed a total lift of 240 kg, he cleared the bar at 105 kg in the snatch and 135kg in the clean & jerk lift.
Tulo faced stiff competition from some of Asia’s best including three-time World Championship medallist Vietnamese Thach Kim Tuan who won gold with a combined lift of 282 kg and China’s youth champion Jia Xionghui who won bronze with a combined lift of 269 kg.
Fellow Vietnamese Tran Le Quoc Toan won silver with a combined lift of 276 kg.
