Over 827 people have registered in the last two days of Government’s Free Medicine Programme at Nausori on Monday and Makoi, Nasinu on Tuesday.

The registration drive ends on October 6, 2017.

Apart from the free medicine registration, the public can also have their hospital cards done; undergo diabetes and hypertension checks and registration.

To be eligible for the programme your income must be less than $20,000 per annum.

You must have a valid social welfare membership number issued by the Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation.

For registration, you must provide a valid Photo ID (Passport, Drivers Licence/Voter ID) and the Tax Identification Number and proof of annual income which may include (pay slip, pension slip or signed statutory declaration).

The registration drive will be at the Nadi Market Area today and in Sigatoka tomorrow.

The free medicine is one of the 33 new initiatives of Government where those earning less than $20,000 a year qualified.
