The current top two teams in round of the Australian National Rugby Championship clash at the ANZ Stadium, Suva on Saturday.

Fans cannot afford to miss the 5pm showdown between the Perth Spirit and Fiji Airways Drua as the two teams are fresh from scoring big wins over the weekend.

Defending NRC champions Perth Spirit demolished Greater Sydney Rams 61-17 while the Fijan Drua beat the NSW Country Eagles at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.

The Spirit arrives today with Naqali, Naitasiri, native Isi Naisarani likely to make the run-on team.

The blockbusting flanker already labeled the ‘Wallaby in Waiting’ will lead the charge.

The Spirit’s dominant pack and hard-running forwards lay the foundation as they left Taqele Naiyaravoro’s Rams on the defensive throughout.

But they know they face stiffer opposition at ANZ Stadium on Saturday.

“It always starts up front. We’ve got a good pack with solid names in there, but reputation stands for nothing in this competition and you’ve got to front up day in, day out,”team captain Michael Ruru said.

Wallabies’ squad centre Billy Meakes wants to improve his performance after the clubbing of the Rams.

“We’ll prepare for Fiji much the same. They are going to be extremely tough especially playing at home,”Meakes said.

“We’ve got a great mix between clubbies and professional players. We’ve got boys coming in and out from their different duties elsewhere,”

Tickets cost $10, $5.
