Tandravula aims to make an upset during the Vodafone/Bank of Baroda-sponsored Vanua Levu Muslim Inter-District Championship premier division.

Coach Irshaad Gani said last time they won the annual event, currently being played at Subrail Park, Labasa, was four years ago.

“We thank our sponsor Hussein’s Hardware and Seaqaqa Shopping Centre for supporting us in this tournament,” Gani said.

“We managed to reach the final but lost to Wailevu.

“This year we aim to take the title back to Tandravula. We are here for a purpose and that is to win. We have sacrificed so much to make our families and community proud.”
