Jan & Joe Investment Opens In Nabua

After 17 years of working in the printing industry, James Lal thought why not starting his own business.
Originally from Labasa, Mr Lal said there were high hopes but he was not too sure on which direction to head to.
“With a lot of researches, brain racking and thinking, I opted to set-up a (hair) saloon business,” he said.
He was in a verge of buying a (hair) saloon but later realises that he could start off his own since there were spaces available at the Charan Jeath Singh Complex in Nabua.
“Looking at the setup, we wanted to give the public a different look of the saloon and we are trying our best to get professional staff members to sustain in the latest and modern hairstyles.”
Jan & Joe Investment is his first business named after his children, Janisha and Joe.
It is a family investment of $30,000.
At the moment, Mr Lal employs four staff members and he will employ more once the business gets busy, he said.
He wishes to employ seven staff members with five males and two females.
“Nabua is a big area covering Namadi Heights, Bayview Heights and Four Miles so it is a good location,” said Mr Lal.
