Nadi Aviators Ready
The Nadi Aviators rugby league team is ready to defend the Vodafone Inter-Zone Championship title.
The side takes on Nasinu Titans in the final at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka today.
Head coach Vela Tawake said they are on track. Most of the players played for the Ravoravo Rabbitohs and Sabeto Roosters.
“It will be physical but we have covered all areas,” he said.
“Nasinu Titans will be having all their Fiji Residents players but we are giving our locals a chance to prove themselves.”
The side together with major sponsors Vodafone visited St Minas Orphanage, Martintar, Nadi as part of their community service on Friday.
“I really thank Vodafone for the initiative,” he added.
He urged all the fans to support them at Lawaqa.
“I would also like to thank Vodafone Fiji and Kokomo Island for supporting the U20 and the women teams.”
