Friends of the 21-year-old law student whose body was found in Vesida, Caubati, came in numbers yesterday to pay their respects
Close friend Simi Talei said the funeral gathering saw Iosefo Magnus Qionitoga’s friends from all walks of life gather to bid their amazing friend goodbye.
“God takes the best and Magnus my friend is in God’s arms and in a better place. We have lost a down-to-earth friend,” Mr Talei said.
Meanwhile, Police are treating the matter of the late Mr Qionitoga as murder and investigations are being conducted.
The friends, who are calling for justice, said: “It was inhumane. We want justice for our friend.”
Family members of Mr Qionitoga could not be reached for comments.
