Courts Mega Store in Votualevu, Nadi was abuzz with customers since it opened its door for business early Sunday morning.

Nadi Businessman Vikash Chandra, 34 of Martintar was present to take up the galore of the Courts dhoomdhadaka diwali promotion in conjunction with a Roadshow.

“I have been a customer at Courts for the last 20 years; I find it great to shop there and love the red pen discount,” he said.

“Today is a relaxing day for me so this is why I opted to run to Courts to take advantage on what is on offer.”

Customer, Arieta Nai, was also present and bought few electrical appliances.

“There is great news of special on a lot of things I want to buy from Courts, which is why I am present here for the red pen discount.”

Director of retail operations Hamendra Prasad said these are series of promotions that will end in early October.

He was impressed with the business that is channelled from mega stores.

“This is our dhoomdhamaka promotion, every year we do this promotion for Diwali,” he said.

He added that there will be roadshows hosted with a bid to give back to the community.

The Courts mega store boasts two levels of air-conditioning, boasting great savings on electrical, ICT, furniture and fitness equipment.

Courts is also having their Philips mega carnival sale.

“Today we have put the prices down on Philips product, free gifts on purchase; we got the cookery demonstration, whole thing happening out here,” he said.

Diwali sale will be the best time to shop .

Meanwhile, Courts will be having their roadshow in Somosomo. Taveuni.

Diwali will be celebrated on October 19.
