Residents Opens Door For Nadurutalo

It was a dream come true for the 25 year-old centre, Ratu Luke Nadurutalo to finally get the opportunity to be selected for the Vodafone Fijian Residents in the Battle of the Bati on October 7 at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
Nadurutalo, who hails from Korolevu, Navosa, previously played for Penrith Panthers and currently plays for Nadera Panthers.
“I am really excited to get selected to represent the Residents side and I’m looking forward to a good game in the upcoming Battle of the Bati,” Nadurutalo said.
“This is like a dream come true and also a privilege for me to finally get to play for te Residents team as I have grown watching the former Vodafone Fijian Bati reps play which really motivated me to work hard and uplift my career.
“I had been playing 15s for a long time until I went over to Australia and switched to rugby league.
“Previously, I represented Saint Mary’s Rugby Club for three years in Australia and also played for the Penrith Panthers in only two of their matches.
“Last year I was injured and returned to Fiji and played for the Nadera Panthers.
“And I am also keeping my fingers crossed to get selected for the Vodafone Fijian Bati side for the 2017 RLWC later this month.”
