A woman is in critical condition at Labasa Hospital after she was allegedly stabbed several times by her husband on Saturday night.
This was confirmed by Police spokesperson Inspector Jokatama Qio yesterday.
“The 24-year-old was stabbed by her 45-year-old husband at Nakalou in Macuata Province around 6:30pm,” Inspector Qio said.
“The suspect who breached the Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO) is currently at Seaqaqa Police Station,” he said.
“It is likely that he will be charged for attempted murder.”
