Leading table tennis female player Grace Yee will be out to show her worth in the 2017 World Cadet Challenge, which is on October 21-29 at the Vodafone Arena, Suva.

The 15-year-old student of Jai Narayan College is very passionate about the sport as she has been participating since the age of 12.

“My main expectation is to better my performance in this upcoming world cadet challenge and hopefully make Fiji proud,” Yee said.

“Previously, I’ve competed in the under-18 category and open single event in the various international events and one of which was the 2016 Gold Coast, so I’m aware of the level of competition and what to expect from players that will be representing other countries.

“Preparations are on track as I take few hours of my time daily to train and improve my skills.

“My aim is to become not just Fiji but Pacific’s number one female table tennis player and I’m confident that I can achieve that.”
