Seaqaqa football coach Sanaila Bera is hoping that the changes he has implemented is going to help restore lost glory during the 2017 Courts Interdistrict Championship.

They take on Nadogo in their pool opener on Tuesday, October 10, at Nadovu Park in Lautoka.

“Seaqaqa has always produced talented players but they’ve left the district and made their name while playing for other districts in the premier and super premier division,” the former Labasa striker said.

“Through our participation in this tournament we want people to know that Seaqaqa will continue to produce good players. I’ve a well- balanced team.”

In the past years Seaqaqa have produced top football players like Kasimiro Dinono, Livai Duguca, Jovilisi Duguca, Usenio Logaivau, Ilisoni Logaivau and now current Rewa striker Gabirieli Matanisiga.

Bera said this is the first time he’s coaching a team to the IDC.

“On behalf of the players we are urging the people of Seaqaqa to come forward and support us during the IDC,” he added.
