Pleass Global Limited is exhibiting its premium brand VaiWai at Anuga 2017, one of Europe’s largest food and beverage fairs.

Pleass Global Limited, which manufactures and sells non–alcoholic beverages here in Fiji, offers bottled water under AquaSafe, VaiWai, and Hakwa, as well as under custom labels.

Anuga 2017 is holding its 34th annual exhibition in Cologne, Germany. It began on October 7 and will conclude on October 11.

Pleass Global marketing director Cate Pleass said this opportunity helped in the company’s export strategy to enter European markets.

Anuga 2017 expects 35,000 visitors at the show this year and VaiWai is currently present at the show’s Pacific Island stand.

Pleass Global was one of nine Pacific food and beverage companies that participated in the 2017 Auckland Food Show in July. That was the first time it took part in the Auckland show.

“It was our first visit to the Auckland Food Show and a great opportunity to interact with retailers and consumers,” Ms Pleass said.

“It was a positive experience for our brands VaiWai and AquaSafe Natural Artesian Water for awareness.”
