The 2017 Population and Housing Census enumerators will be revisiting the households in the urban areas they had missed.

The enumerators will be revisiting houses whose occupants were not at home during the census period which ended on Monday.

Senior statistician, Emali Soderberg said until now the best estimate coverage was 98 per cent of the population.

“We are doing a wrap up of the enumeration by doing a second week of the sweep across the country concentrating in the urban areas from today until Saturday,” Ms Soderberg said.

“People may be at work when the team visited their houses. There were also situations where flats attached to houses were missed during the initial recording,” she said.

Ms Soderberg said to ensure that no one was missed, all those houses and families would be revisited over the next four days.
