The Fiji Football Association (Fiji FA) executives will meet next month to finalise the dates of next year’s major football tournaments and also the start of the Vodafone Premier League.

Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said this is an important meeting as they set the 2018 calendar.

“The venues and dates for the three major tournaments of the Vodafone Fiji FACT, Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants and Courts Interdistrict Championship will be decided at that board meeting,” he said.

Yusuf said the Pillay’s Garment Champion versus Champion series between Lautoka and Labasa will be played on the first and second week of January, next year.

“Then the Vodafone Premier League will follow from there,” he added.
Meanwhile, IDC champions Lautoka, Labasa, Nadi and Rewa will depart next month to compete in the Pacific Cup in New Zealand.

“The Pacific Cup is from November 22 to 26 where Nadi are the defending champions,” Yusuf said.
