Credit Corporation Raises Funds For Campaign

Credit Corporation (Fiji) Limited (CCL) raised funds to help make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families.
Around 100 people turned up to the Credit Corporation morning tea along with the stakeholders and clients in partnership with the Fiji Cancer Society at Credit Corporation’s head office in Suva yesterday.
All funds raised will go to the Fiji Cancer Society (FCS).
Credit Corporation’s Fiji managing director Peter Dixon said the organisation was very pleased to be a part of Pinktober and help create awareness.
“It’s important for all major and smaller corporate bodies to get behind this and push the cause,” he said.
“It is important that corporate money is behind this cancer programme.
“This is our second year that we are actively involved.

“We started last year and it was very successful and we want to continue with our support to FCS because it is about corporate responsibility and doing the right thing in the community.
“We are very pleased to be a part of Pinktober and we thought to create awareness as much as we can.
“All our staff members have contributed, the stakeholders and our friends have given some money and Credit Corporation will put money to support fight against cancer.
“Everybody can play a big role in helping people fight cancer.
“Morning tea is a great initiative along with corporate donations.
“At any level anyone can do things as, it will help the cause and create awareness whether it’s a small or big contribution,” Mr Dixon said.
Fiji Cancer Society president Philip Low said:
“Cancer does not affect just one person but the whole family.
“And we try to provide all the necessities for the patient, their family and the survivors.”
