AMerelita M, Diva Vesikula, Abdul Razak, Joseva Leka and Peni Naba are the five winners of the much-awaited Crest Chicken 5X5 promotion.

The draw saw over 250,000 entries nationwide from May until October.

Goodman Fielder carried out the Crest Chicken 5X5 promotion draw at Ratu Sukuna Park in Suva yesterday where a large crowd had gathered in anticipation of the annuoncement.

The promotion in partnership with Carpenters Motors was worth a total of $360,000.

Goodman Fielder general manager Chris Zaayman said: “We were aiming to get more than 200,000 entries. Previously we had 160,000 entries but this has broken the record. We are very happy with the participation rate from everyone around the country.

“We take each promotion at a time and we want to make sure that there are five life changing prizes, not just one or two as our previous promotions were. That is why we came up with this concept and the reaction from everyone has been fantastic,” Mr Zaayman said.

Fiji Sun had anticipated to interview the winners, however, Goodman Fielder advised that they needed to contact the winners first prior to making further publicity.

The formal presentation of the vehicles to the winners is expected soon.
