Vodafone Fijian football head coach Christophe Gamel believes that his players have what it takes to play Estonia at the ANZ Stadium, Suva on Sunday, November 19.

Despite going through a lot of challenges in camp, Gamel says, it will be interesting to see how his players react to a fast-paced team.

Estonia is currently ranked 80 by FIFA while the national team is  at 175.

“I continue to trust in my Bula Boys, they have the pride and will surely show that during the game,” he said.

“Estonia players are all professionals, they play fast and will give us a lot of trouble but it is interesting to see how we face this kind of players. For that I’m happy regardless of the result.”

Gamel has recalled Vodafone Premier League golden boot award winner Saula Waqa and Nadi marksman Rusiate Matarerega. Also in the squad is stylish Lautoka midfielder Zibraaz Saheb.

Gamel said while the team are doing well, there are some players who are not responding well to training.

“The team is doing well but now I have to go through the selection process because of players who do not respond well. The camp is going well but the quality is still not there.”
