Rainima Gets Support From Fijians Worldwide

Miss World Fiji, Nanise Rainima has received a number of congratulatory remarks on her social media page from Fijians all over the world.

One such message that was posted on Miss Rainima’s page was from Emali who is in Northern Ireland.

“I would like to thank you for making it to the talent round semi final and also would like to wish you the very best for the Miss World pagent head to head challenge,” Emali posted.

“All the best from northern Ireland. Take care of yourself and may God bless you.”

Ms Rainima also received well wishes from her uncle Maikali Tuinabua who is serving in the British Army Forces and is currently in South Sudan.

“Hello Bu Nani. Your family in South Sudan doing UN peace keeping. Wishing you all the best. We would also like to congratulate you for making it into the talent round semi finals. God bless you Bu Nani,” Mr Tuinabua posted.

The Flying Fijians who are touring in Europe also sent in their congratulatory message and five eighth Ben Volavola spoke on their behalf.

“Flying Fijians here in England. We just want to wish Miss Fiji for your Miss World pagent. All the best and May God bless you. Toso Viti,” Mr Volavola posted .

Miss Rainima believes Fiji can achieve and make a big difference in the Miss World competition.

The beauty from Nakelo in Tailevu posted on her FaceBook page that she was thankful for all the encouragement, support and love.

“I don’t doubt for a moment that Fiji compared to large countries here in the World competition will make a huge difference in a way bigger than it already has been so far,” Ms Rainima posted.

Memorable moment

Meanwhile, on her Facebook page was a post of her demonstrating courage and selfless act.

Miss World Indonesia, Achintya Nilsen posted a video and captioned it: “A memorable moment was when Kenya struggled in the water when all of a sudden Fiji jumped into the swimming pool and helped Kenya to complete her swim. Everyone cheered them both on.”
