Reapi Nawase of Dreketi Primary School won the Under-12 100 metres gold at the FMF Northern Chow Games yesterday.
The Year Seven student won bronze in the U11 100m at the Chow Games in Suva last year.
“I would like to thank my teachers and my mother Reapi Tabuaciri for encouraging me.
“I am very happy and proud of my achievement and look forward to next year.”
Meanwhile, Lepania Lewarogo, a Year Six student of Dogotuki District School, also scooped gold in softball throw.
She also won gold in the U9 cricket ball at the 2015 Chow Games in Suva.
Lewarogo wanted to thank her coach/teacher Savenaca Larua.
“I am excited and looking forward for the Chow Games next year.”
