Paradise Beverages Regret Recent Campaign

Paradise Beverages regretted any offence that has been caused by their recent marketing campaign on Ratu Rum.
This came to life after an article that was published by Radio New Zealand stating the concern of a Fijian man on the major beverage company selling alcohol whose name disrespects local chiefs and culture.
It says the man, Shiri Ram has started an online petition that he plans to present to Paradise Beverages and Fiji’s branch of the global giant, Coca Cola Amatil.
Company’s Head of Sales & Corporate Affairs Joe Rodan said that they are aware of the petition and regret any offence caused.
“We apologise again for this, we stopped using it immediately and will try in future to ensure greater sensitivity to the concerns of our wider community,” he said.
