Zahib’s Role on Sunday’s Match Crucial

Lautoka mid-fielder Zibraaz Sahib is raring to take the field when the Bula Boys take on Estonia in an international friendly on Sunday.
Sahib, who missed out on national duties earlier this year, due to personal commitments, is one of the experienced players who will lead the charge for the Fijians.
He says it feels good to be back in the national camp.
“So far so good. It’s not been easy but good to be back in national camp. I want to keep a low profile and hope to get some game time.”
Sahib knows the opponents will be difficult to beat, but anything is possible in the game of football.
“They are a good team and we have had a good camp too. Every team faces ups and downs and we have also seen some bad days. The boys are looking forward to the game.”
The rugged midfielder played a crucial role in Lautoka’s triumph at the 2017 Courts Inter District Championship and Vodafone Premier League.
He has been impressed with the way preparations have gone.
The team shifts camp from Ba to Suva tomorrow.
