Minister for Local Government, Housing, Environment, Infrastructure and Transport Parveen Bala is not happy with the proposed $3.8 million Land Transport Authority regional office plan in Labasa.
“The proposed plan and construction cost is costly,” Mr Bala said.
“There have been some amendments to the plan and the construction dates have been extended also, “he said.
“What we are going to do basically is to redesign the plan before the construction of the office starts.”
The proposed amendments to the original plan of the newly proposed regional office in Labasa were presented to the minister for his comments.
