“The Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association HOTEC  Tradeshow is one place where we can market and demo our products first hand.”

This was stated by Shazcom Technology’s director operations and technical services Shanil Chandra.

The company specialises in hospitality products including CCTV cameras, WIFI solutions, biometric solutions and more.

Mr Chandra believes that HOTEC was where they were supposed to be to be known in the market.

“We have been having a lot of hotel owners and executives coming in and having interests in our products, and that is a positive feedback,” he said.

“It’s pretty massive, the word is spreading and people are getting to know about our product.”

It is the first time the company is being part of the tradeshow and “we are happy to be here,”  he said.

About the company

The Company was founded in 2011 by Mr Chandra who graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree from the University of the South Pacific in 2008.

He has worked his way up the ladder despite all odds and challenges. Currently, we are a group of young engineers and technicians with majority of the staff less than 30 years old, married and sole bread winners for their families,” he said.

Currently the company has 11 permanent staff including Mr Chandra.

The company is located in Nadi and they have plans to extend their services to other parts of Fiji.
