Fedora Jacob received the overall outstanding award at the Jasper Williams High School’s prize giving ceremony in Lautoka on Thursday.
She also scooped the Year 13 outstanding student of the year, best science student and Head Girl award.
She said: “I plan to become a doctor when I grow up so that I am able to serve the less fortunate people.”
She added that she had worked hard throughout the year and planned to go abroad to pursue her studies.
“I lost my grandmother last year and this year when I entered school, I remembered her advice,” she said.
“She always told me to work hard in school; therefore I am happy with my awards. I know I have made my grandmother proud.”
