‘I aim to be a Flying Fijian’

  Usaia Sevakasiga, 18, won the Noco Secondary School Sportsman of the Year award on Thursday. The Year 13 student was the happiest during the annual prize-giving in Noco, Rewa.

Usaia Sevakasiga, 18, won the Noco Secondary School Sportsman of the Year award on Thursday.

The Year 13 student was the happiest during the annual prize-giving in Noco, Rewa.

The Vuya, Bua, native was actively involved in rugby and athletics during the year.

He was proud to win the award as it is his first step to achieve his dream of becoming a national rugby representative.

“I did not expect to win the award but I am glad that my hard work was recognised by the school.

“This award means a lot to me and I am taking this award as a motivation to become a Flying Fijian in future,” Sevakasiga said.
