The Fiji Football Association hosted the visiting Estonian football side to a banquet night at its Vatuwaqa Hall in Suva last Saturday.

The theme for the evening was Fijian night.

Estonian team manager, Miko Puppart says it was an experience the players will never forget.

“Well it was a great night. We haven’t experienced anything like this before. It was so different,” Puppart said.

“I want to thank the Fiji football and all the players who made it possible. The players and officials really appreciated it and I am sure it is something we will cherish,” she said.

Fiji team Manager Shamal Sharma was glad to have hosted the visitors at the function.

“They have travelled a long way to play against us. This is just a small way to thank them for accepting to play against us,” Sharma said.

“Our players were also excited as they got to meet and shared notes with some European players after so long. We are grateful that they appreciated our gesture,” he said.

From Fiji the Estonians have their next matches against Vanuatu and New Caledonia at the two respective countries.
