The Director General (DG) of the Multinational Force & Observers (MFO) Ambassador Stephen Beecroft plans to visit Fiji early next year.
He relayed the message to the Minister for National Security and Defence Ratu Inoke Kubuabola when they met in Rome yesterday.
Ambassador Beecroft started three months ago.
Ratu Inoke said: “He was just full of praises for our troops in Sinai.”
Ratu Inoke said that the Ambassador enjoyed spending Fiji Day celebrations with the Fijian troops last month.
Ambassador Beecroft succeeded Ambassador David M. Satterfield who had served as Director General since 1 July 2009.
