Incoming Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Baroda is confident that the financial institution will continue to stamp itself as a leader in banking in Fiji.
And after 20 days in the country, Sudhansu Sekhar Khamari, says he is confident that the bank will also continue to grow in its services to counter the changing trends in the world today.
“Bank of Baroda has been here in Fiji for a very, very long time and we are working very hard to develop ourselves not only here in Fiji but all over the world.” Mr Khamari said.
He said client satisfaction is their primary with everything they do centred around customer satisfaction.
“We upgrade constantly for the sake of our customers because they are our priority and that is something I will work to see happen also in Fiji.” He said.
Mr Khamari has come from the state of Orissa in India and has many years of experience to his name and calls his appointment to Fiji a new and exciting one.
“I’ve always heard of Fiji and before coming here with my family, I have heard a lot your country and even read up on it on the internet but having arrived here and seen everything first hand I must say that it is more beautiful.
“The landscape and everything about Fiji is wonderful and we are looking forward to a good time here,” he said.
On Wednesday night, the CEO was welcomed at the Bank’s Lautoka branch with a cocktail with business people and other stakeholders from the Sugar City.
“It was good to meet everyone here, the staff and our business clients and I must thank the staff here in Fiji for being excellent in their duties,” Mr Khamari said.
