Holiday Inn Suva is planning surprises this festive season, says Sales and Marketing Director of Holiday Inn Doreen Huon. She said yesterday they were offering more treats this year than last year.

What she can confirm is that this year the Holiday Inn will hold a special Christmas Eve Dinner. They did not have it last year, she added. It will be held at the Sirocco Restaurant ($49 per person, $30 for children from 6-12 years).

“On Christmas Day we have a buffet lunch. There will be a great variety to choose from. A collection from hot to cold to roast and deserts which is $75 per person and $42 for children from 6-12 years.

We have started getting our bookings and the conditions to those bookings are 50 per cent deposit which is non-refundable. Usually our restaurant seats 110 and we are looking forward to filling all of that.

For New Year’s Eve we have bigger things planned.

Coming up in the first week of December, we will have our Christmas Tree in our new lobby if renovations are complete.”

The Culinary Director, Philippe Garand, has also confirmed that it is the first time that the Holiday Inn will be having a pool deck event this New Year’s Eve which will be filled with surprises.
