The ticket demand for the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Band (RFMF) Military Tattoo and Centennial Celebration is overwhelming, says committee chairperson Commander (Navy) Lepani Vaniqi.

“We have to increase the pre-sale venues as a result as the demand for tickets is high,” he said.

He urged people to get their tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Commander Vaniqi said they started with two venues when they started the pre-sale a week ago, but the demand was high.

“There have been phone calls from people. To make things easier we have increased the number of places where we are selling the tickets from.”

He said in terms of preparation, the bands and all the acts that they would be performing on the night were slowly coming together.

“Those who will be present on the day will be amazed.”

Commander Vaniqi said it was the first time a military tattoo was going to be held in Fiji and work was being done to make it a special one.

The RFMF Band Military Tattoo and Centennial Celebrations start at 3pm with local bands begining  the show on December 8 at the ANZ Stadium.

The Military Tattoo starts at 7pm when the public will be treated to a spectacular show.

Grandstand tickets are $30, temporary seating $25 and grass embankment $15. Tickets can be bought from in front of ANZ Bank along Victoria Parade, Post Shop, MHCC and RFMF Strategic Headquarters at Berkley Crescent in Suva.
