Sebastian Singh is preparing for the Westwood Boxing Promotion main event on February 3, next year.

The Toorak, Suva boxer has been committed to training since he knocked out Junior Farzan Ali in July in Nadi.

“I am always training so I can be ready to fight whenever the opportunity comes.” Singh said.

He is currently ranked No.2 in the World Boxing Foundation super lightweight division and No. 10 in the International Boxing Organisation.

“I am going to work extra hard to make my mark in boxing, not only in Fiji but around the world,”

“I want to better myself, I want to move up in the rankings and hard work, dedication, sacrifice and discipline will help me get there.

“If Manny Pacquaio can do it for Phillipines,  I know I can do it for Fiji.”

Westwood Boxing Promotions’Praneel Dass was confident the fight would draw a good crowd.

“This is going to be a huge event and there’s an increasing interest from overseas.” Dass said.

He spoke highly of Singh and said with the boxer’s world rankings, this would definitely draw a huge interest from overseas boxers and promoters alike.

“Sebastian is the best there is in Fiji and has a professional outfit that manages him very well.”
