The HUAWEI MATE 10 Series was launched at the RHUM-BA on Denarau Island in Nadi on Wednesday night.

Vodafone Fiji Limited Chief Commercial Officer, Ronald Prasad said they were strong and valued partners of Huawei over the last few years.

Together, he added they introduced a few advanced featurette smart devices in Fiji and are proud to be able to bring another first for Fiji.

Mr Prasad said it was one of the first smartphones that was used for the entire photo shoot of talents for a popular magazine’s cover page.

He said with the convergence of technology in the many areas of business operations and personal life, they are stepping ahead to offer their customers the flexibility to integrate their businesses into engineered solutions available at their fingertips.

HUAWEI director Consumer Business Group-Pacific Islands, Michael Townsley said the launch marked an important milestone for Huawei Technologies (Fiji) in collaboration with Vodafone Fiji.

The HUAWEI MATE 10, he added received special recognition for its camera experience co-engineered with Leica taking the title of ‘European Image and Sound Association ( EISA) Smartphone Camera 2017-2018’.

“It builds on the outstanding user experience synonymous with the MATE Series by providing users with everything they need to express their creativity through photography with its dynamic illumination to create timeless portraits and exceptional pictures,” Mr Townsley said.
