Team Fiji women’s football team’s youngest player Seruwaia Vosailagi is ready to represent Fiji at the 2017 Pacific Mini Games in Vanuatu.

The 15-year old student of Gospel High School said it was never her intention to play football.

“In school we were given two options either to play football or netball,” she said.

“I did not did not expect to excel in this sport but I have grown to love it and it is my aim to do my country proud and hopefully win a medal.

“Representing my country is one of my biggest achievements and I know this will also make my family proud.”

Goalkeeper Vosailagi aims to do her best and contributes constructively to the team.
