Light show to give bands extra edge

The light show at the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) Band Military Tattoo and Centennial Anniversary at the ANZ Stadium is expected to give the performing bands an extra edge.

The performing bands will include the RFMF Band, the Fiji Police Brass Band and the National Youth Brass Band.

“It will be a musical extravaganza and a light show unlike any other when the disciplined forces bands converge to the ANZ Stadium for the RFMF Band Centennial Celebration and Tattoo on December 8,” chairperson of the RFMF Band Military Tattoo Centennial Celebration Commander (Navy) Lepani Vaniqi said.

He said they had roped in the assistance of light specialists.

Yesterday they had their first rehearsal at the ANZ Stadium and tonight they would rehearse under lights.

Meanwhile he said for overseas viewers the military tattoo would be live streamed by TFL at http://my.tfl.com.fj.

The cost will be US$25 (F$51.79).
