Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou stressed the need for players to work hard, learn from failure and have a positive attitude .

He made the comment when he presented the jerseys to the Team Fiji rugby sevens side at the Games Village, in Port Vila Vanuatu, yesterday.

“I know that you are prepared well mentally, physically and spiritually, the coaches have done their part,” Tuitubou said.

“You need for them to learn from your mistakes quickly and improve in every game because all the teams would be out there, gunning for the gold medal.”

The sevens competition starts today at the Korman Sporting Complex.
