SODELPA: Naitasiri Back Radrodro, Want Another Candidate In
As the day draws close for the announcement of the SODELPA candidates which is expected to be tomorrow, Naitasiri has indicated that apart from sitting Member of Parliament Aseri Radrodro, they want another young candidate in the party line-up.
Former Yasana Holdings chief executive Eseromi Bayameyame has reportedly been named by the province to contest under the SODELPA banner.
Mr Bayameyame vacated the chief executive officer position after Fijian Holdings acquired Yasana Holdings and selected a new CEO in March, 2013.
Sources within SODELPA confirmed that Naitasiri was adamant that they chose five people from the province as SODELPA candidates.
This power struggle is not going down well with SODELPA leader Sitiveni Rabuka and those in his inner circle.
It is also reported that there had been attempts to delay the release of SODELPA candidates’ list announcement.
