About 100 children got the chance to enjoy themselves after the Asco Motors family hosted them to dinner in Suva yesterday.

They were from St Christopher’s Home and Dilkusha Home.

Last month, Asco Motors also hosted children of Loloma Home.

For these events, the company spent close to $20,000 as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

Human Resources and Learning and Development manager Avnit Sundar said this was the third year they were hosting these children.

“They don’t get the chance to celebrate Christmas in a big way so we ensure that they spend this time with the Asco Motors family,” he said.

“We gave them presents and treated them to dinner. There was entertainment and outdoor activities for them.

“We let them sit in new cars and they enjoyed themselves. It makes us happy to see them smile.”
