Grand Pacific Hotel has emerged the winner of three 2017 World Luxury Hotel Awards.

At the 11th edition of the awards, which took place in St Moritz, Switzerland recently, GPH was named the 2017 Luxury Business hotel (Australia and Oceania), 2017 Luxury City Hotel (Australia and Oceania) and also the 2017 Luxury Heritage Hotel in the country winner category.

GPH general manager Peter Gee said he was proud of the achievement.

“With after a little more than three years of operation the quality of the service and our facilities has been recognised by such a respected organisation and awards from the World Luxury Hotel which every year decides on the best hotels in the world.

“This is an award nit just for our staff but indeed for Suva.”

Mr Gee appreciated the support which their customers and guests have shown throughout the year.

About the World Luxury Hotel Awards:

World Luxury Hotel Awards is the pinnacle of recognition achievable by a luxury hotel, for service excellence and earning the respect of guests, industry players, and awarding hotels, as voted for by the public, across 99 different categories.

Winners are based on the votes of 300,000 travelers who were invited to vote for their favorite luxury hotel over a four-week period.

GPH’s plan for next year:

He added next year they are planning to continue the work that they’ve been doing.

“We will keep improving our services and make sure it is relevant to the needs of our customers.”

This year GPH started their Christmas tradition and they have so far raised over a thousand dollars for Saint Christopher’s Home.
