Seaqaqa New Year Street Party

The Seaqaqa street party organising committee has once again joined hands with stakeholders to have their annual New Year street party on December 31.

Organising committee chairman Lakhan Kumar said the street party will be held at the Seaqaqa Shopping Centre compound outside Labasa Town commencing at 7:30pm.

“This is the seventh year of celebration,” Mr Kumar said.

“We would like to thank the Seaqaqa Shopping Centre managing director Hasim Khan who initiated this celebration in 2011 and has been the major sponsor since which has grown bigger and better annually.”

“The annual event is celebrated in a true multicultural spirit thus promoting unity, peace and harmony, deepening friendship amongst the multi-ethnic community and providing an opportunity to bring people from all walks of life together to be part of and enjoy the great entertainment thus welcoming the dawn of 2018,” Mr Kumar said.

“We are proud to announce that Flour Mills of Fiji (FMF) Foods Limited has partnered with Seaqaqa Shopping Centre as one of the major sponsors to make this event successful.

We are not only encouraging people of Seaqaqa to join us for this event but also welcoming all Northerners to be part of it.”
