Team Fiji boxing manager Manueli Tuinakelo said they would be aiming for two gold medals.
“We are expecting two gold medals from Jone Koroilagilagi and Winston Hill,”Tuinakelo said.
He said they are through to the semi-finals
He said both their boxers had the potential in going all the way.
Hill defeated Vanuatu’s Martin Naiau in the 69kg weight division. Tina Ruata lost to Vanuatu’s Robert Zorro Waritam in the 81kg weight division, category at the Korman Sporting Complex, Port Vila, Vanuatu.
